How to ship your hard drive.

When shipping off your hard drive to our recovery lab it is crucial that your drive is carefully handled and packed to avoid any additional damage during shipment.

Step 1 - Remove or have a qualified technician remove the hard drive from your computer.

Step 2 - Place the drive in an anti-static bag or zip-lock bag to avoid possible further damage from static electricity.

Step 3 - Package the drive with at least 2-3 inches of packing on all sides. We recommend using foam, bubble

                  wrap, packing peanuts, or newspapers to help avoid shock or shifting during shipping.

Step 4 - Be sure to print clearly both inside and outside of the box. Include any special instructions and details

                  about your recovery needs. Please include your phone number both inside and outside the package.
